I agree with Bliss' earlier assessment... this woman sounds extremely pushy. I doubt her demands will end with the room decor and use of your table!

I think someone better will come along for you to share your space with. Sounds like this one doesn't understand the concept of "share"

Shane, it's not going to end with the decor and the table. It will always be like this. She has no concept of cooperation and she hasn't even moved in yet! There will always be another thing, and another and another with which you will have to "compromise."

Please wait for someone you are compatible with, it will make your days at work so much better, even enhanced, rather than a place you dread going. Even if you never even see the person you share with, just knowing that you have a mutually respectful arrangement makes such a difference.
