Personally I don't care for getting PMs asking for details from guys with low post counts or weird quetions. Why would I tell a stranger stuff that I wouldn't write in a review?

As with anything else that is reviewed I think at the end of the day you can read all you want and ask for all the info in the world but at the end of the day you have to go in for a test drive.

I may as well get my 2 cents in as well.
I have never PM'd anyone regarding any MPA, and my policy for PM requests is pretty standard. If it's not in my review, chances are a PM wont reveal anything further. I usually reply with " I don't know you, and I cant answer, simply because of YMMV" there are only a handful of members that I would share additional info, they know who they are, and so far none have asked anything of me.

for me it's the unknown thats intriguing, sure I'll use reviews, polls and threads as guidelines, but that only goes so far and is so subjective in many cases and as always I take into account ymmv.

I have on a couple of occasions received unsolicited information, and if it's from a trusted source I'll tuck the info away for future reference. but it wont go any further than me.

I do my hobbying in the open, my first encounter with an MPA is always reviewed and displayed for all to see

I like to ask by PM "what is on the menu?"

Now is there anything wrong with doing this, I am not ashamed to ask when I need a benchmark ... but sometimes I ask to find out if another member is bullshitting me when I have already seen an MPA and also even confirmed with another member who I have traded info with in the past to see if maybe our sessions were similar. I store a lot of this info and keep track of who tells me what and who can be trusted and what not ... now that this little secret is out I am sure that my PM box will subside (BTW ... thanks for the 10 PM increase).

There are many members out there that talk the talk but very few that walk the walk.

Damn the stories that I could tell you guys about the shit that goes down behind the scenes.

I have no problem with sharing some info but only to a few selected members who I have learnt to trust.

but I also like to keep many things to myself about some MPAs and my experiences with them - well that's because I want keep all the fun experiences with them to myself!!!!!!!!! - but most of all to protect these MPAs.
