I just spent a few nights in Beijing and stayed at the Crowne Plaza hotel on Wangfujing Avenue. (There are two Crowne Plaza's in PEK).
Arrived from the airport at about midnight, and noticed that little Chinese girls in blue coats seemed to be all over the hotel....it turned out that they were from the hotel's 24 hr massage service.....and they were mostly cute. I didn't have massage, but a friend did, and he was not offered full service, just a hand job, but I guess that is up to the girl. After the first night I dodn't see them running around, but they were still all in the Health Club (9th floor).
One night we visited the Sanliton bar street....it had bars not suprisingly, most had bands in them, but most (but not all) were playing Chinese Pop....one bar had a decent Pinoy band in it. We were offered girls ("cheap") in at least one bar.....but cheap turned out to be 1000 RMB ST which isn't cheap at all.....There were also some very nice girls running around, but I didn't talk to any of them or ask if they were working. It was a Monday night and so pretty quiet. A colleague from my local office told me that the girls that usually worked in that street were undergraduate students trying to pay for their studies (or whatever). Go have a look if you are bored. One thing I found suprising, I think one of the bars was a gay bar......it had men pole-dancing (dressed...fortunately) and when we left we were asked if we wanted a ladyboy! Didn't sound like Beijing but you live and learn.
Anyway, Tuesday night headed for the Hard Rock, got there about 9.45 and had dinner. A few tables had people eating and lot's of single guys were sat by the bar.....I noticed a 70 RMB first drink cover charge if you didn't eat.....but at 10pm no girls.....at all......However......at 10.30 pm the lights went dim, and a couple of girls appeared.....by 10.45 the place was full of them. Many came up and pleaded to buy you a drink with their 70 RMB drink token (so they could get there money back....a large beer is about 60RMB). The quality was generally good, but there were a few scary looking older girls as well (they seemed to get in the bar first). I asked a few price and all started 1000 RMB short time, I didn't haggle as at that point I wasn't planning to buy one.
After a while, I noticed that there was a girl standing quietly beside me, I looked at her and realised she was lovely.....I asked her how much and she typed 600 ST 1200 LT into her 'phone...I said 1000 LT and she agreed. She didn't speak any English and I don't speak Chinese, but we managed to communicate somehow. I got a taxi back to the hotel and I walked in with her at 12.20 in the morning. The hotel staff mainly smiled.....she said she was 23, and she certainly wasn't any older than that. She had a perfect bod and even a very pleasant pair of natural breasts....rare in China!
Anyway, I realised that if she stayed all night I wouldn't get any sleep, so we agreed to do the deed twice and then she would go for 1000 RMB. I don't think she had been working very long, you can't fake the level of innocence she seemed to have....she was so sweet.....and she should have asked for more money! However, when she was about to go she got very animated and pleaded with me (in sign language) to take her downstairs and put her in a taxi. Which I did about 2 am....I don't know what she was scared of, but I guess the hotel staff may not have been as nice to her if she was on her own....I tipped security on the way back in....but I probably didn't need to.
Happy hunting!!
John.
