It might be just me but, every BG I have asked the question of has only worked for 3 months.

Still almost fresh then, think Ill keep asking:

And perhaps with her limited english skills she thinks that 3 months is the answer not neccessarily understanding the question!!

Most girls move about quite a lot and 3 months might be correct for some but not neccessarily on the scene but just at that bar. Popped out to get a pizza tonight and met a girl that to my knowledge has worked in 3 different bars in kamalala in the last 2 months, so her answer would be 5 days.

The length of time (admitted by a BG) working is directly proportional to the length of time the guy asking has been in Thailand.

So for a newbie - its most likely to be "I worc 1 weeeek onleee"

Your getting the 3 months version.

For us long term expats (who know anyway that they start at 15 with Thai BF or Thai scene) then get something closer to reality.

Once when I asked that question in Pattaya, the answer was 3 years. h: Unfortunately, I did not conceal my surprise. She provided competent, professional service but talk about being out the door shortly after doing the deed.

Or try getting a mate to go up to her after you and asking the same question and you'll probably both be fed different answers.

Mav, a life time ago my then job brought me into regular contact with the girls working Acland St and other parts of Melbourne's (then) most infamous red-light area, St. Kilda - standard answer to how long they had worked the streets "about 3 months".

When my first ever BG (Dollhouse, Clinton Plaza) said she had been working bar for 3 months, well the double-take look on my face must have been priceless. I remember thinking then that some things truly are universal. :yes: Enjoy.

I really do not know why it matters how long they have been there. If you were on holiday or out anywhere else in the world the question would never arise. So why is Thailand any different.

Most of you have been to Thailand so many times, so what difference would it make, everyone knows the score, both the girls and us.
Is all part of the game.

I am sure if you were to chat someone and spend some time with them you will find out the truth in the end.

Personally I would rather someone who knows the ropes and is a bit more experienced, saves a lot of the initial misunderstandings that may arise, and are normally a lot more loyal to you if a relationship arises during and after the holiday
