Should members with no posts be banned?

massageplanet.net runs on advertising revenue, all those lurkers read the ads and thereby sustain the money charged for advertising. If one was going to take action it would be to cull inactive accounts, where the person hasn't even visited massageplanet.net for a long period of time, rather than basing it on postings.

It must be an intelligence factor at your end but that isn't the case. People that put their opinion out there more often maybe be treated differently the some new butt f**k that come on complaining about the others that choose share their opinion often. It really is a case of familiarity rather then "respect" or whatever you want to call it.

In my personal case I read what a poster has to say. If I don't think they have a clue about the board I usually look at their join date. Post count doesn't come in to play much, other then if it is a frequent poster I already have an idea what their mindset is based on what I have already read by that person.

Members with no posts should be applauded and offered sliding discounts.. I've always found silence to be mysterious and sexy. Those with over 1000 posts should be banned, as all they do is clutter up the board with inane ramblings.

OK, from what I've read here the consensus is that bebe's idea that started the thread is a bad idea. The only "harm" done to him and Beckham is that they are annoyed by low count massageplanet.netites PMing them with questions. I've got a suggestion for bebe / Beckham: don't reply. Ignore the PM. There's no rule (as far as I know) that you have to reply.

I think people who have enough time to sit around and try to identify groups of people who should be banned should be banned.
During the past few months there have been threads about banning people who don't post, people who post less than once a month, people who post things relating to B&D, S&M, or other fringe forms of sex, people who mention the term BBFS, people who think about BBFS, the list just goes on and on.
