Yes own camera is essential! The photo oportunity is right at the end when you are leaving the theatre! The performers are waiting outside for you!

I've not yet met anyone who hasn't enjoyed Fantasea!

Its a sort of Vegas show based on Thai culture, don't want to give too much away, but have been three times now, and the show doesn't change but i liked it each time.

Tips: Don't bother with the meal offered its overpriced and a bit like the feeding of the 5000.
Upgrade to a VIP ticket, you will be really close to the elephants.
You can't take cameras into the theatre but worth taking as you can use on the site and good pics to be had.

The food is expensive and not really very good. It is basically a very large restuarant (warehouse) with a buffet which is pretty cr*p. Better to just see the show and then head back to Patong and go out for a decent meal.:thumbsup:

There is another thread about Fantasea , do a search and see what other BMs think.

Abit of both, but do yourself a favour and avoid it. Just buy a show ticket. If your hungry there is a restaurant outside before you go into the show.
