Thank you for being so vicious in your comments ~

This has been an eventful foray into Bangla Road and surroundings ~ and Mai Thai Bar as well.

I walked in about 10.30pm - I asked to see Nicke and was informed he wasn't around tonite. Then I gave a list of Board Members namely Mai Chob, Still Early, JimLove and the lady who took my order (bartender ?) informed me Mai Chob had come yesterday night; and she didn't recognise the other names. I informed I was a member of Phuket-info and new in Phuket and she pointed out another member -- who requested thru one of the ladies there for my forum user name ~ which I wrote on some stationery, which she then passed to him ~

It's raining still outside -- as it was when I sat at the bar at Mai Thai ~ watching the bar girls all around the other bars in Soi Eric and their hilarious albeit somewhat aggressive antics to rope in customers. I think I laughed too much.

After a time, I was asked by the bartender to make way (sit at the far end next to the wall) for other customers who were about to arrive -- two men and their other friends ~ and who needed seats. So I finished my drink and left.

I went to another Soi and watched the girls dancing on the table tops ~ then went to a disco called Seduction and danced to some nice music ~ then went into another bar that was playing live music (maybe Filipino singers) ~ then met costumed transgenders along the way ~ and then went to Scruffy Murphy's ~

And noticed all along the way that the men on their own in Bangla Road had mostly eyes only for the bar girls; & I can understand why ~
