One poster suggested that the BGs are regularly tested, but that's not enforced by many bar owners.
Incubation periods vary from 3 months or more for HIV, to a matter of days for the everyday "urethritis" type infection (including chlamydia). The nasty syphilis will show up initially as a sore then can disappear for years, finally eating away at brain and other organs!!!!
Get the lady tested at least a week after her last client, and perhaps then a month (or two) if you intend to hang on to her........then you can dispense with the jubber ronnies.
