I've been down there a couple of times now and thought it best to give it a fair chance to settle down after quite a bit of an overhaul. BUT..........IMHO it was still lifeless, dull with an un-finished feel about it.
As someone has mentioned, there is very little attracting anyone down there off the main street and again, IMHO, the bars have trouble getting and keeping any half decent looking girls or staff. Not sure what the bar owners are paying in rent down there but I bet they struggle!
After a couple of beers I just wanted to get back out onto Bangla itself........Just me!
