Soi Sunset goes Rasta!!

After the Ex Pat Hotel reopened their front bar they took on a Rasta Entertainment group called "Coconut Heads Reggae Band".They do Wednesday through to Sunday and have given the place a bit of life.

I thought it was just for a few weeks but not it looks like they are here to stay.They have painted the whole area in rasta red,yellow and green.Even Valhalla's big arch is now rasta colours.:gasp:

They also have a Rasta stall at start of street.Looks like I am going to have to get to like Bob Marley and "chill Winston".Must start working on me dreds.:sarcastic:

The buildings are still there but looking tatty now.The fabric roof over the pool has started coming to pieces and is torn apart.Don't know what landlady intends doing yet.:grrrrrr:

Was up Sunset a couple weeks back, first time in ages. I thought they really did a nice spiff-up job on the Expat bar. Nice clean open & airy look, lots of TV's with sports, pool table, good music, reasonable drink prices. :thumbsup:
