You are getting your threads mixed up. This is about awareness regarding what the masseuse is up to if she is always using the phone while massaging. Massage at $80/hr is a full time two handed job. Using the phone throughout a massage ... ?? Not on this guy.

Yes I agree, texting during a massage where they are charging $80+ is a dealbreaker for me. I don't mind if they take an extra minute while they are going out to get the hot towel if they quickly check their phone, but doing it repeatedly during the session totally kills the mood and I will not repeat with a lady who does that.

This is an area where we need to vote with our wallet if we want to change that type of behavior.

Best to have this discussion with the therapist before you begin to prepare for the massage (and definitely before any payments, if prepayment is required). If they do not understand, and do not agree, take a walk. If you knowingly want your massage to be live-cast to Shanghai or Chongqing, at least get an entertainment lawyer to draft up a solid royalties agreement in advance

My bad.Usuing the phone and 1 hand massage is a major deal breaker which will immediately get cross d off the list.I have constant back pain and actually need the massage.Thars why I stick to Nini back walking twice a week.For extras,there is always Sunny and Kiya
