I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone, especially Bill and his staff at SB. I have been to Thailand many times including Phuket, but have never stayed around Bangla road. I have the utmost respect for Thai people, including BG's, and believe the Thai's are the most hard working and friendliest people on the planet! Which is why a lot of people visit there, including me. A lot of people are jumping to conclusions about my intent. Maybe I am after companionship, more than some sex crazed monster, that some people are implying.

Good memory, ER. This is pretty much my policy. Apoligies to you, Nels, as possibly we miscomminicated. It is the policy of Summer Breeze that girls can't date the guests, for obvious reasons. That being said, there is "wiggle room". I know that I can't completely stop the guests from seeing the staff, I just want it known that these girls are not 'bar girls', but of course I can't run their lives. I have seen it to where a guest did end up with one of our staff, and it just about did ruin his trip. It did not work out between them, and she made him feel like crap if he brought any other girl to the hotel.
I've also had staff email customers, urging them to stay at other hotels so they could be together. Net result: customer stays at other hotel and staff loses her job.
I'm sure that things do go on, but I try to keep it to a minimum. I DO feel very protective of the staff as it is the hotels greatest asset.
We've had to let go 3-4 girls over this in the past. I just don't want our staff to have a reputation of being 'easy'.
I also have to be realistic in realizing that some of these girls work at the hotel to meet a good man, and this has happened. I think two or three girls have ended up marrying one of our guests.
By the way, I'm now in the US and jus tgot the chance to see the forum for the first time in a few days, so when I say the thresd name "SB bargirls", I rearly had a stroke. I would rather it had a heading of 'SB staff" or the like.
By the way, thanks guys for helping me out.
I have to go now because I have to be somewhere, so possibly more on this later.

If you have never been to either.. How do you know.. Lots of hotels in Patts have a bar where the staff would off..

I don't see it as innocent.....i see it as ignorant...and a real pointer to the lack of understanding of some that come here

besides 2 minutes reading a couple of threads on SB would have made that abundantly obvious

Maybe I am just being overly sensitive about the SB gals...many are close friends but I hate seeing the title of the thread as it may give some who just skip over threads the wrong impression.....

anyway hopefully the OP has the answer loud and clear now
