Whoooooooooooooops - hmmn - well I have had in my amazon account a booking for Maternity Reflexology - meaning the old book !! Guess what arrived on my doorstep last week - the new joined up manual !! I already have manuals 1 & 2 purchased from teh course . . .g r r r r what a waste & yes it is tao books - so now i have the cards, the manuals & the joined upmauals - gr r r r expensive ot what !! and they're all the same info =-

So word of warning - make sure the books' authors are written in too if you want the old book !!

Aaaaaaah one of my clients has had her ickle baby - a boy - aaaaah all well
except she has high blood pressure - which they have put her on medication for - yet during her pregnancythe Reflexology kept it down !
Hopefully she'll continue with her treatments as she'll be great case study
( in the nicest way possible that is meant )

i got a message on my mobile wehen i was away, asking for labour to be induced. i have to say, it 'irritates' me slightly, that these ladies dont seem to consider reflexology as worthwhile until the last knockings!

As Reflexologists (having also done a Pregnancy & Labour add-on) we already know of the benefits BUT it is getting this known amongst the population at large that is the difficulty.

However, we are finding that more and more women are requesting Reflexology to help with their gynecological problems - so the word IS getting about slowly!

Yea great link - ah Rosie hi there - No i ended up not priming but 'vitalising'
& 'soothing' as I felt it was important to adapt the mum's expectations
First baby - due on such & such a date - thus she expected baby on the dot & both seemed very impatient ( in the nicest way poss ) ie well its in the diary - 6pm !!
I decided she was becoming a little agitated & that woudnt do her or the baby or her relationship any good. So we discussed the babies needs' and at 2 days over EDD perhaps there was a very good reason why baby wasnt here & who are we to try to encourage babe to come any earlier than
ready - thinking that another couple of applications & we'd be there as the feet were really changing dramatically & I was guessing it wouldnt be too long. But she had an app with midwife & they booked her in to be induced - she did have another app but decided to change it as she was going to be induced anyway - the inducing didnt work so they broke her waters
She has had an app since & bless - she looks very tired, detatched & could really do with some mega reflex. Its like switching on a light in a darkened room - after treatment finishes she comes alive , I hope she books some regular appointments especially to balance what could become baby blues !

Just to say, I did Day 1 of Part 1 of Susanne's maternity reflexology course today and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We're back tomorrow to finish part 1. I would recommend it. The Hormone Hat was out of this world!
