Suzy Wongs - highly recomended

Is there some kind of strange no tip for drink service policy at Suzy Wongs?? Certainly it's the first place I've had tips refused, and it's happened two times there. They take the change that I leave in the container (after I grab the notes) and leave it on the table, even though I clearly motion they can keep the change. It's so unexpected, but I'm wondering if it's the wait staff expressing disapproval, protesting the fact I'm only tipping 10 baht and not leaving more (they seem to eye off the 20 baht notes in my hand, but that could be my imagination). Anyone else had this? Sure I often tip 20 baht or more, but only when I have a bin (not for each drink).

Aside from that, IMO best gogo in Patong, not that there's much in the way of competition .

Also regarding the comments on LT prices, met a guy in Suzy Wong's that had been asked for 5000LT from a lady there. Yes he paid, twice in fact. I'm sure this will bring a tear to the eye of many punters lol. Personally I couldn't give a rats what others pay, good for her if she can get that, can't imagine it happens often such that she's come to expect it.

Most houses that are provided by the bar/gogo owner have a ban on entertaining "at home" (tried that one before Snowy).

But the alleged "dormitory rules" about fines for nights out and mandatory early AM return times if barfined smells a bit unsavoury to me, to say the least.
As does the "all in payment" to the mamasan - close to crossing the line to pimping.

Depends if he got his change from the BF on that occasion....I never pay up front and as soon as one of the Mamasans wants to get involved in negotiations, I look at that as a sign to leave... IMO the GOGO Mamasan is there to ensure the girls are doing their jobs and not sitting around , not trying to snaffle drinks and cash from customers

Seems odd regarding the no tipping.

However I am not a regular in SWs, spend more time in Devils Playground and Exotica on Seadragon and they more than happily accept my tip!

As for pricing, I dont think the girls have set prices for ST/LT. Depends on a lot of factors, age and looks etc. I took a girl from Devils Playground in January and she did not disappoint.

Yeah it was just added to the bill, however I checked out the next day and moved into a guest friendly place in patong for my last four days. live and learn

I consider myself in the service industry and as being in the service industry it means working long hours 7 day week, and always serving others...
but I do enjoy seeing people enjoy themselves in my bar. that gives me pleasure.
