I would like to hear how other stone therapists deal with the cleaning and disinfecting issues in their practice. I have a full time, very successful, private practice in a chiropractic clinic and have had a phenomenal response to my stone work. It completely changed the direction of my practice when I introduced the stones to patients and clients last year. I LOVE the stones because I have seen what a difference they can make in recovery from certain kinds of injuries. Working with the stones has also had a profound impact on me personally, in a very spiritual way, and I believe this clearly comes through in my work. I also see the stones might not be for everyone, therapist or client alike..... Done well, it tends to be a very timeconsuming and expensive process. I would appreciate hearing about how other practitioners maintain their stones, in general, daily, and between patients/clients. I use a stainless steel, medical grade warmer and rock that is quite large. I limit my practice to no more than five a day. I'd also like to know what type of oils other therapists are using for this therapy. Thanks! Looking forward to hearing from everyone.
