Skinny black guy needs a place to stay. The white welfare mom charges him couch money. He sleeps on her couch and she makes some side money. Also, many welfare moms will space out their child bearing so as to qualify for extra benefits - more money, 2 bedroom versus 1 bedroom appt.
This is the life of a white welfare mother in the Kitchener, Waterloo region area:
14 - 16 years of age
Party. party. party. Always a good time. Don't finish school.
17 - 19
Have your first child. Mark down 'Father unknown' and receive welfare benefits as you stay with your parents and drive your grandparents car around until you can get settled on your own. Why do you think you see so many white welfare moms in 20 year old Buicks? Now the welfare car has changed as Buicks aren't as popular as they once were. Over the past 10 years, Grand Prix Pontiacs were the goto cars.
20 - 23
Have another kid, finally get off the housing waiting list and get 'your own' place, continue to claim you also don't know the second father's whereabouts so you can qualify for increased benefits. Apply for an receive every benefit known to mankind within the province of Ontario. Everyone helps you out, gives you everything under the sun because: 'She has it hard. She is a single mother.' Continue to set yourself up with housing and other benefits so you establish your future as best you can.
24 - 30
Go to the casino, get 3 or 4 tattoos, smoke your life away, drink and party with your neighbours who also live in your building. Gossip about other welfare moms, shop at the Dollar store for your childrens' necessities, game the system some more, have men stay with you and be 'temporary' live-in boyfriends etc.
30 - 45
Start strategizing and think about submitting your disability claim application. Choose either a bad wrist, bad knee, bad back or some other disability that will provide income once your children turn 18 and you can no longer claim them as dependents and receive welfare benefits for them.
45 - 50
When you either get kicked off disability benefits or you get a lump sum payout and have already bought a trailor and parked it for summer use, you get a job at the local Dollarma because your friend - also on welfare, disabiltiy and now working at the same Dollarma - gets you in the door. You work at Dollarma for 3 years and then retire at the Trailor Park you bought a few years earlier because you negotiated a long-term trailor park year-round fee and your parents passed away and left you with enough inheritence to get you to the age of 65, where OAS benefits will kick in.
50 - 65
Live at the Trailor park, sit outside on your lawn chair, drink beer, smoke cigarettes, go down to the water pool, travel to Mexico every 2 years. Hang out with other retired welfare Moms and once every couple of months, go visit your child who likely have repeated the same welfare lifestyle you brought them up within.
