Thai Massage is similar to Shiatsu, it uses acupressure along Sen lines (like meridians) and doesn't use any of effluerage or percussive movements, some styles are known as lazy mans yoga, because you have to manipulate, lift and contort your client. It is done through clothing and on the floor, so no oil.
There are a couple of places in the UK where you can study, but I have no experience of having it done in the UK or studying it here, so I can't say if it is totally the same as the Traditional Thai style or not.
