The moment I open the fridge my dog freezes, stares at me and sits. I get his can food and his tail wiggles 100 miles an hour. Call me silly but I smile everytime he does that.

He'll stand at the side of my chair on his back paws, with his front paws on the arm of my chair.... then he'll look up at me, meow, and pat my arm with his right paw... (as if to say... look at me! LOL) Its like he's asking permission. So I'll just say "Hey buddy, wanna snuggle?" while patting my lap or my chest (if I'm reclined...) and he'll meow back, and jump up in my lap.

Mine does the same thing but only he uses his claws and if I'm playing an intense video game, me makes me LOSE (the bastard). I can't tell you how many times I've had an enemy lined up in my sights and he grabs my mouse arm and I end up shooting the leaves of that tree over there.....

He doesn't do this much anymore but he used to body slam me in bed. He'd tuck his shoulder down and roll onto his side against me. Now a 15 lbs cat flopping into you isn't something to be overlooked.....

If I'm on my hands and knees looking for something, plumbing under the sink, or hooking up the a/v equipment, he'll wander in between my legs and park himself there. Always with his assend forwards too so his tail is flipping back and forth in my face. He started doing this when my chiropractor gave me these back stretches to do. Where you get on your hands and knees and lift one of your legs straight behind you and the opposite arm in front. He'd wander over and then nudge my remaining arm and push me off balance....

Every time a woman walks in the door, the dog takes a big whiff of her crotch. Does not matter who it is or how often they come over. If you shoo him away, he will play the sneaky game and wait until she sits on the couch, or at the dinner table. He'll then sneak up and snnnifffff.

Then he just walks away and goes lie down somewhere.

Our biggest dog (115 lbs) will crawl on the bed and smother "3". I don't think she finds it very amusing but I nearly piss myself laughing as she tells me that she can't breath. He is the dog version of Lenny from "Of Mice and Men" and "3" is his soon-to-be-dead mouse.

This was Timbit Toot Toot. He was my very best friend. I lost him almost 4 months ago to an unknown illness. He was 6 1/2. He made me smile every day for 6 1/2 years. EVERY day. My favorite memories of him was when I picked him up and kissed his HUGE, pink nose. He would close his little eyes, hold his body stiff and scrunch up his face in anticipation on my lips on his nose. After the kiss was over he woud squirm to get away as if to say 'mommie i was good and let you kiss me without biting a hole in your lip, let me go play!'

I miss him very much but seeing his photos and remembering the smiles he gave me warms my heart.

I had a big dog... part husky/wolf, part lab... he used to sit in the back of the car with his head on my shoulder, cheek next to mine... drooling down the front of my shirt...

I miss him.. he was like a brother...

He liked grapes.. green ones.. he'd take it into his mouth and roll it around for a while then crunch it and swallow.. then look at me for the next one...

I have a wandering cat that comes by every now and then for a visit. Just yesterday I was moving wood from the wood pile into my basement and he climbed up on the wood pile and kept me company while I worked. He even climbed onto my wood sled when I was moving a load.....it was too funny. Then I noticed him walking in his own footprints in the snow. (I guess so he wouldn't get more snow on himself).....then he turned to look at me and he had snowflakes on his forehead.....He's jet black so they really stood out. He's quite the character.....

My dog sits by the front door everyday exactly between 10 am and 10 15 am when he expects the mailman to come on by to drop the mail.. He knows along with the mail he will be getting a treat from the carrier.
