saw the freezer bar (not sure name) was nearly finished when i was down there daytime sunday

whats left of the 'alley' is now very narrow

the fit out look very nice - though know that has little to do with future success (see seduction) which of course is wished in abundance, darrell

at the very least imagine will be a constant roll of new tourists who want to come for the photo op

good luck with trying something new!

otherwise - see tai pan's new facade as a good move (if only to hide the roof) to further cement their position
- is it just me but all the staff still hawking for seduction must show they are still not busy inside 9not worth the walk last time)
- new beer bar at front soi tiger - what's the rent on that and aren't the other bar owners annoyed?

The new front wooden bar in Tiger is the soi owners own bar I think somebody wrote somewhere. And yes, other bar owners very annoyed. I would guess Sharky's and Jagger Bar not happy with it, as they spent lot of money to be in front.

Got told last night sharkys owner and the new bar had a fight the night before and it's not even high season yet.

found out also it's not soi owners bar , a lady who asked soi owner can they build one and he said yes but alot of money for contract and rent what i got told.

could be a bit dangerous sitting in them two bars if the owners are pissed in high season and not good advertising if two bar owners fighting.

Got told last night that the bar owners within Tiger were putting together some conserted plan to remove the 'love shack', one owner told me that in his opinion it seemed to be a bit of a fire hazard!!!!

Also went to the new in the alley between tiger and seduction bar, think it was called V2O bar, nice modern decor, good music whilst we were in, beer 140bht a bottle, lets just have one for the road then!!! about 6 or 7 girls dressed in company shirts and trousers, stayed out front of the bar, not talking to us two hansum men at all. Upstairs, comfy settees but no digestives nor horlicks, so definately giving it a miss in the future, no ice bar either, unless I was too drunk to see it!!

Its an expensive Home Bar in a slightly better location but will fail on the same level for similar reasons.

the ice bar i went to in BKK had just this little freezer room on the 2nd floor
could fit maybe 4 people in it
was kinda like going into a freezer in a restaurant kitchen

v20 announced on flyers few days ago that the ice bar will be open today. So 8 ppl from MTB went to v20 when MTB closed to try it out. But no, it is still not finished. Now they said 10th November. I went home instead but I will try it later on again.

Its the kind of thing you want to try atleast once. I guess the bar in question is maybe 4-7 sq.m. so it is not big.

i wonder if a vodka bar in patong would really be that popular? i know i won't be going
