It seems like prices are up in general so it’s inevitable mpa prices have and will go up.

Have you seen some of the prices on Tryst nowadays for escort types - not uncommon to see 700 to 1000 - who in the fuck pays these prices when there are so many others in the 300 500 range,not to mention some at the 250 300 range

I just can’t justify paying 2 or 3 times more for a ymmv experience

Prices @ low end haven’t really changed… I can definitely get a $20 handy @ semi legit place w rm fee… gal gets 2 keep $30, she’s ok…not overjoyed tho…

… but holistic, she’s gotta get more $$$ bcuz she doesn’t share rm fee… unless u get out in 15 min, then I’ve seen it done…

It’s jus like, why bother w HJ if u can’t play w her tits & ass? Even older gals, can still b a bit of fun… I’d rather pay $60 & get some nudity & play… … well that’s me…

Well hard to me to talk about Mississauga. But no doubt it's a Chinese shop.

At 30min the room fee nowadays goes all to the boss with few exceptions. Usual 40 for room fee
At 45min, 50 room fee, the girl only gets 10

Now for 60min, used to be 50/50 now it's 40 for the boss and 20 for the lady. This FORCES them to do more for a better tip even if they're not inclined to.

However a tip of 50 after paying room fee is VERY GENEROUS. Especially if no sexual contact was involved.

However if that's total for a 30min massage well that's a different discussion. Most have no idea how hard massage is to do. But once again neither here nor there.

There is no set way for how the MPAs are paid by the spa.
Some give a split from the door fee, some give a flat rate.
Some give nothing, some give something.
No matter what, the MPAs depend on "tips" to make their day's work worthwhile.
Don't forget, if it's a quiet day, they make very little.
Although some, not many, but some, do pay something for the MPAs just to be there.

Like all industries, different businesses within have different pay structures.

Having said all that, the OP should have at least left his original offer.

So I went to a spot in central Mississauga I normally don’t frequent, but the lady spoke super good English and seemed friendly so thought I would give it a shot.

The massage was standard, nothing special as was the ending. Happy And standard but nothing to really thinK twice about.

As I don’t hobby all that much anymore and the lady seemed super friendly I decided to tip 50$. At this point she looked at me in disgust and demanded I pay 70$. I put my 50$ back in my wallet and left without giving any tip.

Was she trying to push my generosity? This used to be 20$ tip before. And if not why do you guys keep paying this.

Ya do not get the competition out in the sauga. If you r in the east, I doubt any mpa wud dare tryin to overcharge nless warranted with extreme beauty and services. You get a superstar like Lucy, could upcharge witout any flack but sticks to spa standards.

Most AMPs = owned by former mpas… many = friends & former colleagues w each other…

Market forces setting $$$ … & practicality.

Semilegits or holistic, it’s a skill, & there’s competition 4 gals… so they can’t go lower than current standards or gals run away … if u go higher, other spas gonna b p!ssed @ u… & they help each other out, sharing pics of bad clients, names of gd helpers 2 advertise & even girls… & hey, u no Chinese , they don’t like 2 step outta line!

Not AMPs as far as I no…

… only place I ever suspected = Minx spa… they’re wifi handle = Good Fellas!!! Considering many events happened there, not unlikely….

… I’ve been much closer 2 actual Mafia than most I think… my workplace = infiltrated by drug trade, guy I new got bumped off… so I no the signs pretty gd…

Nvr seen any signs of mafia in AMP… all small operations … only criminals = us! Per Cdn laws…

Thread Title - TIPS HAD GOTTEN OUT OF CONTROL. OP is insinuating that us Hobbyists are paying more then we should and creating a situation. He even went as far as to say that if we all pay less then all MPA's going forward will expect less.

Has it? Are we Hobbyist getting cheap because of inflation?

There was an article re: Tipflation with regards to tipping at Restaurants. The machine now has a minimum of 15% (as opposed to 10% before). And there is even a button for 30%.

What do I think? I feel that we should always reward for GOOD service. Restaurants and of course Spas. If we as hobbyists feels that inflation had eroded our buying power, what about the MPA's? Do we expect them to work for less just because we want the same service now for less?

Numerous articles about how to deal with this. Mainly - eat out less if your Restaurant bills had gotten out of control. So, as hobbyists are we going to cut down our visits. @OG_funguy started a thread a while back asking "Has higher Costs affect our Hobbying habits" or something like that.
