This was one year ago. I was walking up and down Revolution. Cops stopped and searched me as soon as they saw me. By the way I look like the all american guy. I was not bothering anyone. They will seach people to see if they have drugs on them. I was stopped 3 times by 3 different cops. I left and never went back. Maybe things are better now. I was surprised that at the massage parlors the girls want $100 tip. For that much I can get the same thing in LA.

It would be nice to know where you were and the rest of the details.

To me things are pretty much like they've been for years. The guys I know aren't reporting any increased problems with the cops.

This board seems to get a lot posts about probems with cops. (More than TJ Amigos, which has more posts.) I don't know why the experiences of members of this site are so different than those of the guys on TJA. Or those I and my friends have.

Hey guys:
I was in T.J. last week end . I went to Z.N. in the famous Adelitas
and Chicago club and alley . Never seen anybody beeing arrested by
policias. The policias came to a new club because they had problem
with the girls there. Personally, I never encounter any problem with
the T.J. policias all my years visit this town . May be I am too old
and well behave to them . Just be polite and walk away from trouble,
you will be okay.
I don't think the policias trying to harrass tourists in T.J.

Can you explain to me why they stopped you and what did you say, ive gone to TJ alot and have only been messed with by the police once (arrested) because we got in a fight other then that no problems with the policia

Hi Team,

I am an old member in the days of Jackson. I just returned. I am glad the board is back. I am going to be planning to go the TJ soon. I love TJ but I will say the last three times I was there I did not feel safe. It was not from the people. It was from the cops. Walking down Revolution the cops stopped me 3 times my last trip. I kept feeling like they were going to shake me down. I have not been to TJ in a year but last time I was there the cops were everywhere on revolution. Does anyone know the current cop status now?
