Word on the street is that this is a big hoax....As for any further info coming out?.....well if Goodtime is correct in the postings we should find out the results of the investigation soon.

If they caught the guy with sufficient evidence to proceed on assualt charges, then the Crown could care less about bawdy house charges. Toronto Police Sexual Crimes Unit also has a policy that if a prostitute is assaulted, the police will investigate the assault and ignore the prostitution.

A more intersting legal question is what if a guy did a dine + dash, but did not 'assualt' the attendant?

If he touched her in a sexual manner, such as during NR, then it is a sexual assault if the girl doesn't consent. Usually they do consent, so no problem. But, s.265(3)(c) Criminal Code, states that no consent is obtained where the complainant submits by way of fraud.

Fraud involves trickery and deception. If a customer goes into a spa and asks for a NR/BS and has no intention to pay, then the consent he initially obtained would be nullified by reason of his fraud. Hence no consent, means we have a sexual assualt.
