Towels

I was at one of the cities high end spas last week and when I asked for a fresh towel for my after massage shower, I was told that the spa has so much laundry that they are now telling the clients to reuse their towel from before the massage.

Is this a new policy that hasn't been talked about yet or did I just have the bad luck to get an MPA that is not into customer service?

I always bring my own towels.

The MPA doesn't have to worry about extra laundry, and I'm able to enjoy my Tony Danza towel collection.

Hey at least they didn't pull the towel off the massage table and hand it to you. The lower end spas will try this tactic to save money on laundry. Worse thing is when you lay down on the towel covering the table and it smells like the last dudes smoke breath or bad aftershave.

Go to the higher end spas and this wont be a problem.

Never had this problem at Platinum, they always have lots of towels, that is what the 50 door fee is for!

or they have that stinky smell from the 'yes, it was laundered but without soap and with a tub full of used gym shorts'. Why is it that spa attendants do not come with basic laundry skills? do their 'fresh' towels at home smell like a washcloth that has been used for 3 weeks?

No, that only happens on the little dancer towels at SCs.

A good MPA will stash her towels in the room before the start of a shift. If I'm the first customer of the day, I dont mind using the towel that was covering the pillow. I mean, whats the big deal?

Bringing your own towels might not be such a bad idea. Read the post in this section about the guy who contacted "Molluscum."

A good friend of mine also suffered from this contagion. He's not sure if he caught it from an 'incall' or from his favourite MP.

My regular MPA always offer me 2-freshly laundered towels of good bath size & of good quality- Rather this MPA has her own quota of Towels allocated to her at this very prestigious/well known/well reputed Spa so there is no problem at all + before leaving she always also hand-over a chill mineral water bottle & a nice high quality Choclate, & a tight hug & a kiss at their door, that's the difference in having a same regular MPA for over 3-yrs now. TAX PAYER'S $$'S ARE WELL SPENT IN ENTERTAINMENT OVERHEAD LOL

Hm, quota for towels? Are the door fee justify?

Never a problem as I usually grab 2 for me & 1 for her. MP I frequent with own washing machine, it's part of doing business. Like that place that charge you for hot water!

Reminds me of old FD with his gymbag of soap, towel & oil.
