let’s have some fun and poke holes in the whole idea that Trump declassified the documents which is complete bullshit.
First, to declassify documents is not just a wave of the hand and say they are declassified. There is a whole process. It’s outlined here but the punchline is that there is a written memo signed by the President (Trump has to sign it) to declassify the document then it’s given to the appropriate department and document managers that cross out the classification status stamp and put a new stamp and date saying it’s now declassified
FBI agents seized several sets of records of various classified levels from Trump's home in Florida.

….So, why does the inventory log not contain any “declassified” comments? The list states the confidential status only so those stamps are there. So, where is the other “declassified stamp”? If there was a “declassified” stamp, would the log just say 2a - miscellaneous documents or something without any reference to classification?
Second, the President cannot declassify just anything at will. If there are nuclear secrets, even the President cannot declassify those. So saying the President has wide sweeping unfettered powers is bullshit just to appease the idiots blindly following that crook.
Fan letters and snapshots are one matter, and launch codes are another—and here the details of classification might decide just how much trouble Trump is in.

Thirdly, if they were “declassified” then they are available to the public under The Freedom of Information Act. So, to prove that they were in fact declassified, all the press has to do is ask for their release to the public. So, why hasn’t Fox News, etc. already asked for them and put this whole whole issue to bed?
