Why not break out everything and place only decent toilets, like 20-25 or so. At 10 Baht you will have no competition and no problem getting customers. It could be a gold (or sh*t)mine.

The Thai place your talking about was at Baya Beach's location.......before Chicago's I remember Thomas owned it and it had a Mexican kinda name....Do u remember when Doolies was upstairs and Kendall's Pizza was downstairs....Or what was at the spot where the Sand Inn is now ! Drove past VIP Asia yesterday and can confirm it is now a big pile of rubble !!! So no complaints its too dark anymore !!

I know the building planners had condoned the construction of multiple stories due to the stress on foundations.

I can only assume some big wigs have come in and are gonna build something of multiple stature.... could well be the Rock City 2 thats been previously mentioned..... who knows???

You don't want to get into that location (or any really) underfunded. You have to assume at least a year for ramp up and you need to pave the ramp up with cheap drinks (avoid the common mistake of "we are new and better so we are charging 20-40% than average").

Speaking with the GF about VIP, she was totally unsurprised and came out with one that was new on me..

She said of course it didnt work out and it would continue not to (which lets face it is pretty right so far) because its feng shui was off.. She stated it as though it was totally obvious and matter of fact. Something about beeing an offset crossroad and the door facing another road, said money would always walk out the door and away !!

The site is not wide enough to develope into anything like Rock City 1.:arf:

They would need to get the Baya Beach site as well and knock them into one.Then they could make a good large multi level club.:redface:

Agree...It's just one of those places you walk right by. Especially with the cross walk..(if one can call it that) on the other side of the street. All the foot traffic goes elsewhere. A new entrance needs to be cut on the Soi San Sabai side.....then it would work. Block up the original front entrance and use it as a giant billboard.

I think it is more in concept than an attempt to replicate the actual physical space.

The Rock City space is unique in Patong. Back when it was that sushi place I thought it would make a great club. Personally would have preferred a disco over a way too loud rock place...

I know lots of Bizmen in KL depend on them and believe in Feng Shui A LOT !!!

There are shops selling Feng Shui stuff also, by a famous local woman feng shui master.
