Visiting tijuana.

Im a newbie. Never been to tijuana. Sounds like an interesting place to go. I love latinas and mexican food. I've read quite a few posts on this site about the place and understand how it works down there.

I live in canada nowhere near tijuana can't just go across for a couple of hours and come back. If anyone reading this can tell me if this is an okay plan.

1) Take a cheap flight to san diego.
2) Walk across the border.
3) Take a cab to whereever im going, probably adelitas first. Whats the bar across from adelitas, is it chicagos?
4) Rent a cheap room in the area for a few days. Can I get a room at the hotel thats connected to adelitas?
5) Exchange rate is great from cdn dollars to mexican peso. Getting about 10 to 1 ratio.

Any comments and sugestions would be appreciated. In the mean time im going to read all the posts here and get additional information. Thanks for reading.
