I personally think the forum is at a cross roads. How relevant is the forum to the other aspects of phuket living?

A guy that has made 500+ posts should be able to make an fyi post about an event without question. I'm happy for any and all entertainment events to be posted on the forum. But they aren't. The forum has blinders on.

So I rely on facebook. The forum is missing an opportunity to be about something other than the P4P scene.

I'm all for MH posting details, or anyone else for that matter, as long as they don't have a financial concern in the business. I think it is great to here about different venues and things going on. But it shouldn't just be propaganda. I equally think others should be able to post their negative experiences too.

I know from the Facebook thread that not everyone here uses it. I get notifications daily about events going on in Phuket, Bangkok, Singapore....

I posted the Nine Bar events because I had decided that I will be attending that particular event and would like to meet up with other BM's for a drink.

Soon I will be going to Bangkok for a week and will be attending events there (Glow Bar), I will post about them too.

The scene in Phuket is changing, for the better and others should be informed so that they too can enjoy all that is on offer.

Can't see what the problem is, IT'S still about Phuket, and an event some BM's may be interested in.....even if it is advertising to a certain degree, which the OP has stated it is not....talk about double standards around here.

Not as if the OP is a Newb....or has posted the same thread in every Section....... a load of kerfuffle about nowt IMO

ahh its just past sunset beach resort and orchid...and up the hill....fond memories of kalim..used to stay there on ma 1st few trips,be surprised if this place was built then..been a lot of work going on roundabouts there.

We all respect the owner of the site's business interests have to be protected and sometimes it's hard to know where to draw the line, but if this kind of moderation exists by questioning the op on his motives then maybe Phuket-Info should re brand as MTB forum
