watch out...

Never had a client that had athlete's foot, but I have had one that had poison ivy on their leg. They asked why I avoided it (they said it itched, and wanted me to massage it), and I just told them I didn't want to spread it throughout their entire body. I also didn't want it on me, but didn't tell them that. I've had run-ins with poison ivy in the past, and it's no fun if you're allergic to it. I just couldn't IMAGINE if it would have spread, I wouldn't want it on my glutes, lol.

They didn't want to scratch it themselves, and it itched, so they wanted me to massage it with my massage cream to soothe the itch or whatever. Ugh. Sure, let me get right on that... :

Some people don't think things through before requesting them, lol.

The situation with clients that is currently bothering me is big, enormous, huge, large blackheads or enlarged pores full of whatever on their backs.  I don't mean acne.  I mean just one or two impacted pores.I have to keep reminding myself to ignore them or work around them, or get done with the back so I can not look at them anymore.  If it were on my back, I'd go get a dermatologist to fix it ----- or go get a back facial and let an esthetician to fix it........  How can they NOT know it's there.  Do I mention it?  Oh, dear ---- I'm embarassed that this bothers me.Linda B in NC
