"Well Kneaded Massage" - opinions?
That would be more along the lines of actually getting a therapist to work for you part-time, if they're going to invest that much. I signed a contract and work with a seated massage referral company. They get clients that call them wanting chair massage, they call me to see if I can do it, and if so, they tell me when and where. I do not get the contact name of the business I drive to, I simply show up. All communication is done through the chair massage company, like a "base." When I went to my first gig through them, I went to the business and there was nobody there. I was 15 minutes early, as was requested by the company itself, for setup. I waited about 15 minutes, still nobody there, so I called "base." They got in contact with the person that set the gig up, and relayed info to me. The chair massage company mailed me about 5 business cards with their company logo and my name on it, and mailed me a nice polo shirt. They cannot provide linens, oils, and such because it would be way too expensive for them, and there's no guarantee that I will work with them in the future. It works out nicely for both parties.EDIT: P.S. I do not get paid directly by the company I'm doing the massage at, I get paid by the chair massage company. I am allowed to accept tips if offered.
