Wel come Stickman as the other guys have already stated i have read your articles for several years now and even on occasions taken your advice on certain bars especially the sheba go go bar on soi cowboy which is currently my fav bar in bangkok even my thai girlffriend loves it there because of the shows and the great music selection they play there. keep up the good work mate and look forward to more posts from you a group of us phuket bms will be in bangkok on 10 and 11 july let us know your personal current hot bars and we will give them a visit mate.

Well, after reading the various postings here - it sounds like Songkram is not a good time to visit Phuket ... all the pretty ones are gone - your gonna get wet all the time - & it sounds too bloody hot!

thats the impression that I seem to get as well..I have never been to los at songkram so Im only going from the posts..get soaked all the time and certain bms having ago at people who wet them ,hotels over booked ,bgs hiding for a week or so ,It cant be all that bad plenty of bms there this time of the year..

I wouldn't visit Phuket either if they were having a war there, but I don't think tossing a bit of water about rises to the level of trouble they are having in Iraq, even as much as some people b*tch about it! But, even if you like tossing water, not a good idea to tell Thai people how much you love Songkram!

P.S. Songkran is the Thai word for Thai New Year's water festival celebration day. Songkram is the Thai word for WAR.
