I used to love walking into NEP with a first timer. Was sitting at the Voodoo bar beer with a friend from the UK, he went inside Voodoo to have a piss, and came out saying, "my god they are naked in there!!!"

When working in Malaysia, a young guy from the UK was a drinking buddy there, and he begged me to take him to Bangkok before he went back home. OK off we go, hit Patpong (only time I go there is to show someone new, otherwise hate the place), go upstairs sit at the seforum.xxxe where a girl was doing the banana eating thing.

Caught her eye, and indicated she should shoot the banana at the guy sitting next to him. Perfect hit, square in the middle of the head. Well I've never seen anything like it, up he got ran around yelling aids or something to that effect. Had to get him out of there pretty quick. After that never took anyone new to Bangkok again.

He's officially piked out lads. He's not coming this time round. But guess what? You blokes from Sydney Australia will get this. With his 4 weeks annual leave that starts this afternoon, he's going to see a mate in Brisbane for 4 days, spending a week at home before heading down to Batemans Bay for another week and a bit. Then home again.

I ask you. Who's gonna have the most fun and spend the least money? DJ Dave in Thailand or....... drum roll please.... DJ V in Batemans Bay??

Your right though DJ dave with regards to who is going to be spending the most. We are going to Melbourne for a birthday for just two days and it will cost us basically what one return holiday would cost to thailand. It has become a joke that you can go OS to holiday cheaper than a weekend in the next state. Anyway like everyone else has been saying if you show some good photos he will see for himself that the place is great and feel like he is missing out when you continually return so often. :bangin:

I reckon his main reason is he thinks he will be branded a "sex tourist" when he gets back to Oz. I know from personal experience that this short sighted attitude is commonplace especially in the UK. What they forget is that if I was a sex tourist all I would have to do is go to Amsterdam every weekend,but I don`t. I`m just a normal bloke who can`t be arsed to get a girl,although I do have a "shag buddy" if needs be . As many board members have stated until you have been to LOS and experienced the relaxing way in which you are parted from your hard earned cash for female company,an objective opinion cannot be offered. I make no apologies about what happens out here and I have questioned myself on more than one occasion about the morals of it however I take comfort that I am generous, treat any girl I am with with the respect she deserves and not take advaneforum.xxxe of her(well not too much anyway!!).

Everyone seems to have about the same story, what strikes me as funny is just how many people choose not to want to experience the world they live in, but then that's from someone who falls into the caeforum.xxxory of jump on a plan at the drop of a hat.

I have had life long friends that I have asked to go on many trips to different places and no one has ever gone, they just are not the types to do something out of there comfort zone...this is why so many of us get along so well....most of us have some common ground in our logic and is why I think so many of us get along...you never can place a value on having a comon link.

When I think about trips taken with people who don't really enjoy exploring, it ends up making the trip suck...hearing someone complain during a trip really sucks the life out of things....Yes as hard as it is to believe there are some people who would not enjoy thereselves in los....beats me why..but I know its true.

I have a few friends in California if they went to Phuket they would just freak out with all the fun to be had. I've tried to talk them into it and such but they come up with excuses's like "sorry I talked with mommy and she said I have to finish third grade first" or " I'm scared of the big bad BG's" or "do they have cartoon's there"

As we know, its easy to make friends out there, so why bother trying to convince home pals to come with you? If he's got hang-ups, then you should also consider, he probably wont be much fun to be with when he's out there, he might get resentful even when he sees you having such a good time. Then, he might return home and spill the beans about all the filthy things you got up to, to all the females and thus wrecking your relationships with them.

Nah, leave him at home mate! You know what a good time you can have out there, why complicate matters?
