I'm looking forward to comparing the vinyl vs [remastered] CD version of DSOTM. Not sure if it's easy to get a mint WYWH or Animals ( my old copies are messed) Gotta get some mint Syd.

I only have the new SA CD version of DSOTM and a regular CD but remastered version of WYWH. Both were really good.... the intro to DSOTM with a good stereo you hear a lot more clarity e.g. at the beginning the thump thump sounds a lot more like a heart beat, you can make out bits and pieces of those conversations that they have in the background........ the song with the women doing the vocal solos is mindblowing! In money the change falling at the beginning sounds a lot more crisp, you can hear some cool guitar effects on that song and really get a sense of the stereo elements as the sounds slide from one speaker to the next.

Think I'd like to get live at Pompei on DVD. I have Pulse on DVD which is quite good. You get to watch a live concert complete with lots of shots of the circular screen in the middle of the stage where they projected movies made especially for their concerts. I loved them because it took me back because that was the tour I saw them on. But a friend thought the videos were pretentious and trying too hard to be enigmatic. I just thought they were cool to watch (Even sober).

I injured my back late October and have been unable to work or hobby since then, slowly I'm returning to health and hope to get back into the scene ASAP. it was kinda depressing to hang out here not able to participate the way I like so I've kinda stayed away and peeked in once in awhile.
