LIL,when i stayed at Sun Hill i was taking a tour down Nanai but never went into any bars because i had my GF with me and she dont like i drink to much :biggrinlo ...But when i return in May i will give it a try,i really like the area very much..maybe i will see you around there.

I also like some of the nanai bars for an afternoon session, sitting drinking in the beach house with G and Sefton for 5 hours speaking shit and watching the world go by without a care is a lot of fun.

Kangaroo bar i sometimes enjoy during the day but find it way too busy at night time so i stay next door in P1 bar to start off the night, then onto MTB around 10-11 to see who is about before setting off for a crawl of a few more bars, checking in to love bar later in the evening to visit Geir (not to watch the LBs next door ), then a decision is made as to which club we are heading to depending on the time.

hopefully living room will play a part in my next tour for a few games of pool to start the night off

my local hidey hole is komma bar ,right on the seafront very south of patong beach.i'm sort of a member of the family i spend so much time there. they have also got 2 rooms(very good ones) so i usually stay there as well.

I posted this after my trip last September , still applies , plus a couple of additions.

Love Bar , great laugh (even if Gier is there :blah: ), had a few mad nights at New Year.

Angels, good fun sitting having a few beers and watching the antics at Cocktails and Dreams.

Faultytowers, Soi Sunset , good food -both Thai and Western. Draught beer ,Heineken and Kilkenny. Run by a couple of my mates. No BGs but your welcome to bring your own. Good place for a few beers before hitting Bangla.

MTB, Soi Eric . Very,very dangerous place !!!!. Only joking, great place with good staff and lots of girls. Nicke is a great host but watch out for the shooters, loved the taste(Fishermans Friends , Black Death) but they sneak up on you . Be prepared for a few really good hangovers.

Shipwreck Bar,Soi Bangla. Good friendly bar opposite Soi Crocodile. Great place to sit with beer in hand and watch the antics of the Katoys oppposite , watching the tourists faces is a great laugh. Also , good for window shopping as the BGs go by.

Aussie Bar,Soi Bangla. Going to be the biggest bar in Bangla.When I was there, they were finishing off the extension which is really big. Liked the atmosphere and sitting up high watching life pass me by.

Little Rock,Soi Sea Dragon. The other Rock in Patong , Hard Rock, a small bar on the right hand side of the Sio. Dark , moody and definately the best music in town. Write down a request and 99/100 times they will have it.Good for late night drinking and putting the world to right.

Two trips ago I was At the Bunny Bar quite a bit. Ive never been to Crusty's place though :embrassed

Good sized portions of 'scoff at Crusty's place and one free internet computer.

I liked Love bar for a more relaxed drink and MTB to meet BMs. I'm not much of a drinker so did not go to many other bars.

Sitting at Kev's place and watching the antics of the ladyboys is quite amusing, especially if the monster has been on mind-bending substances.

All the BM barowners are very helpful and knowledgable regarding Thai and local matters.

For me I think P-one bar is one of the best........Pius and Don allways make shure I get drunk when I go there for football-gambling every saturday. Beautifull girls that gives you a good laugh when you get to know them.

Also like most of you I like MTB and Angels...... good bars with great owners.
Went to eat at faulty towers for the first time today and it was really great food to cheap prices......Will definately go there again.

I wandered down to the Darkside a few times last trip and had a great time. Chilled, relaxed and a nice stroll down the Beach Road from Patong Villa. If it wasn't for that Norwegian bloke there it would have been perfect? Anyway...................................

Eric shooter's, I felt comfy, plenty of people to talk with and lots of attention from the girls. MTB same same, lots of BMs to talk to (thou I didn't have the opportunity to meet many) and excellent service and attention from the staff Cool bar ideed.
