Masthera,When I quit (as IC) the salon where I worked. I wrote them a letter since it was nearly impossible to meet with the owners even if an appointment was scheduled days in advance. So, I just wrote in as professional a manner as possible... that I would be relocating, and therefore would not be available to do massage for clients after _______(date). Which was actually giving them about 2 weeks notice. However, about 5 days of that 2 weeks I was out of town getting some Continuing Education. LOL(Less chance of an unpleasant parting of the ways that way I figured.)I didn't want to make it about what they were doing wrong which ticked me off... which was a lot. But, no, I wanted it to sound like I was leaving to pursue my own dreams and goals it puts a more positive spin on it... and then when you have your own practice you'll be able to decide how much to charge - among other things! LOL ย
