How would you feel if you went through all that training and customers expect extras because others are offering it.
Who would get more customers?
Also some don’t even like giving them but are suggested to do so from management, just to make them repeat customers.
I wonder how Gloria feels about all this which I’ve never seen only because I’ve read that there are no extras available.

I recall an earlier thread. A true RMT is very reluctant owing to the loss of licence and the fine. Go on College website. Almost every male that is charged for sexual abuse. Almost every female that is charged is charged for poor record keeping and fraud. That being said i dated an RMT that i met on Plenty of Fish. I wasn't suggesting sex as many providers may just provide a release and I thought I was clear that I was talking about women who are fully trained and licensed. Wasn't that what this thread was about? RMTs? I would agree if an RMT wanted to provide FS or escort services, she should definitely keep it completely separate from her massage practice.

Back to the thread, I don't know if Helen is an RMT, I didn't ask to see her license and I am sure would never know if I was shown one, if it was the same person, but Helen has been the most open minded "RMT" that I have seen in the past few years.

I get what you are saying UNT, but honestly, why should insurance companies even care? If someone has gotten the training, put in the time, done the work to be certified, but chooses to offer extra services, who's business is it other than their own? There is nothing illegal happening as far as I know. The majority of people who go for a massage, don't really need it for medical reasons. It is generally a bit of a sore back or to work out some kinks and to be pampered and relaxed. The vast majority of massages covered by insurance are not medically necessary but they are useful and beneficial for a healthy and happy life. Same could be said about therapy and counselling, useful and beneficial yes but only occasionally, medically necessary, yet still covered by many insurance policies.

Perhaps I shouldn't have posted it, my point was that there is NOTHING wrong with an RMT choosing to offer additional services and it sucks that insurance companies feel that it their duty to discredit a trained RMT. I know, this could open a whole can of worms around a lot of professional services so I will just leave it alone.

I can see the insurance companies having issues with untrained girls using the RMTs license but then again they are probably listed as trainees

The lure of the cash is more or less all that needs to be said. Yes some RMTs do work a sexworkers but the smart ones keep the two activities mutually exclusive and in doing so, there is no conflict with the healthcare plans or the provincial licensing body. There was one lady working as an RMT in a medical clinic and as an SP out of her home for cash with no insurance billing, receipts or fraud about six years ago that I lost track of. The insurance companies understandably do not wish to get billed for whore house services and they are on to what is happening as evidenced by the big delisting lists.

Gaia is an RMT and Tantric provider and she has never had problems nor have I when claiming the massage but saying that she is completely different depending the service she is offering

That's the thing they are called extras because they are after the massage which is what the insurance company is covering. If you get extra after massage time, you are lucky guy. Always extras are giving during massage you already paid for.
It would be nice if getting your 60 min massage & then can pay for extra.
