Sexless marriage: Millions of moms are in one, yet it's taboo to talk about it. Momlogic asked 2,500 married women to reveal the dirty details about their sex lives after marriage and we were shocked by what we found--half found sex to be a depressing, embarrassing or a hassle! .

The most eye-opening findings in Momlogic's Sexless Marriage Survey:
50% of women find sex either depressing, embarrassing or a hassle: We also found out that although 77% of the women claim their sex life is somewhat to very important to them, 54% of married women admit they're the ones who don't want to have sex.

According to 29% of married women, they're just too tired: Not too surprising--at least to those of us with young kids-- that this was the main reason women say they don't want to have sex. 24% said they would rather take a bubble bath and 26% said they would rather read a book.

sure, when you have young children but they grow up and you get over that...it lasted about 6 months to a year with each of my children.
Now our sex life just keeps getting better and better.

Funny, when I say stuff like that I'm called a misogynist prick......weird eh? But I don't totall blame them, some of it has to be on the husband for not getting the job done when he finally has a chance to......

Not to pat myself on the back (much) but my last 3 long term relationship gf's all said to me sex was incredible and that when we broke up, they'd miss that the most. Yet all of their sex drives reduced after the first year. Like I'm always saying: women use sex to get love, (or in the case of sp's, money) and after they get it, we don't.......

to a certain extent you are correct...after the first year or "honeymoon" phase of a relationship the feelings change somewhat...you don't get the butterflies in the stomach any longer and the initial sexual attraction isn't as strong but as you build the relationship it can get even better than the first time.
I stand by my earlier statement that after 14 years with the same guy the sex is better now that it was the first time we were together. Now I feel that I can be myself around him and I don't worry about what he'll think if I say I want to tie him up or I want him to tie me up....I just do it or ask him. Hell I've even tied myself up and waited for him to come to bed...nothing like a good hint right?

Totally agree...

There is extra excitement involved when seeing someone sexually at first. Getting to learn their likes/ dislikes/ exploring a new partner, finding out what really pushes their buttons etc, but like you say, there is also something to be said about familiarity as well.

Funny you should mention that whole tying each other up thing though... I've been texting Mrs. CG all morning and afternoon making plans for later tonight.... Unfortunately she has to work this evening but it just so happens that the kids are on an overnight movie presentation put on by their school at the local theater, so we are planning a little "Master/ Slave" action for later on!! :shock:
