I really think we're talking different worlds.

Nothing like you intimate represents many years of MPdom, for me, unless things have changed in the years since I regulared with Cecilia, Brooke or Jackie.

Indeed, they seemed to like me coming back. Brooke especially was quite adamant on me being a favourite, although I never really believed her.

Attitude, comfort level obviously, changed after visit 1, nothing else really.

You see, I think the MP repeat experience is like any other repeat at any other establishment: it's always there, you know what you're going to get, when to go and what to stay away from. Which is also my response to the original question.

I've done all three venues over the years, but basically I'm a Romantic (like Indian Lover), and I love the gentleness of the MP experience. I like the massage (giving and receiving), and I like the conversation, too. I also agree with Skypilot: I was at high school a million years ago, when getting even a hand job was an accomplishment worth savouring. I don't at all crave the "Porn Star" experience, so mileage is not really a consideration for me. Then again, I'm fairly old and married; if I were young and single I would pprobably see the whole issue in a different light.

Yes, we are always there. But you shouldnt always know what you are gonna get. How is that different from an SP or dancer? Everything has their set 'rules'. I think Life Rules take presedence when talking about a friend Vs any old John.

I started with SP, but have switched to MP for a long while now because in general, I found SP boring and unsatisfying for me.

These are the reasons why.

Environment (room and setting) -- more often than not, SP places are generally drab and shoddy when compared to that of higher end MPs especially when it comes to supplies of towels, body wash, etc. (not to mention the warm, toasty towels of SRM).

Discipline in hygiene and cleanliness -- at the end of a session, in all high-end MPs, you'll witness the attendants taking the shower, cleaning and making up the massage table again. It's a process that they all follow unfailingly. But I have seldom seen that taking place with an SP. In the business of imtimacy, to consistently demonstrate care and discipline on hygiene and cleanliness can be a crucial factor for many clients.

Intimacy,seduction & teasing -- this seems to be a constant component of an MP experience whereas with SPs, it's non-existing more often than not. When I started hobbying a few years back, I was lucky enough to be initiated by the City of Angel gang: Jamie Lee, Ava, Meagan. They all followed a process of seduction and teasing that made the encounter endearing. But since they had misbanded, I had only come across a couple of SPs that practised similar routines. Others are simply "wam, bamb, thank you gent". In my opinion, good sex is inevitably the production of intended build up. The better the build up, the more intense the outcome.

Once in a while, I got drawn back to an SP by some great reviews on the Board and almost without fail, I was reminded once again why I switched to MPs in the first place.

Well I wouldn't think that to be true of most.........I'm sure most are like customer service reps at retail stores where returns come in.........always make the customer happy. IMO cynicism is SUCH a poison. When I first started visiting MP's I didn't believe the compliments I received either. Part of it was because I'd been in a "once a month" sexual relationship with my wife. If SHE didn't want to sleep with me, why would a hot 20 year old find me attractive? It took me a LONG time to wrap my mind around the fact the compliments (many anyway)were sincere.

To be honest, it's wasn't til I built my OWN self esteem that I finally turned the corner. I started working out regularly and lost 20lbs. Then I was able to look at myself in the mirror and smile

Comfort, security, cleanliness, location, etc all seem to favour MPAs . Beauty as well IMHO. I also find MPAs to have better "social skills" for lack of a better term. At familiar spas, I know some of the staff due to repeat business, which adds to the fun of walking thru the door.

Not sure if this applies or not. For some reason, when I see an SP, I feel like I have to "perform". I just find the massage encounter more relaxing. This goes for independents as well. However, if they are downtown, I'll probably never see them. Sorry Jennifer.

Don't get me wrong: I've heard plenty of stupid shit over the years too. Usually it's been while I'm in the waiting room, and an MPA lays it on thick as she's escorting a new client out.

The one NICE thing about having regular MPA's is that you're generally WAY beyond the "your cock is SO big" conversations.

Where I run into problems is more what I SAY. Not too long ago I complimented an MPA, and she asked if I also complimented another girl at the same MP! She was kinda/sorta joking around but not really. The answer of course was YES, I complimented the other MPA... and BTW I also compliment girls A, B & C also...

Each MPA is unique and there are different things about each girl that I like

Just once I developed a real friendship with an MPA. We had dinner a couple of times and exchanged information about our private lives. Then one day she said she no longer wanted me to come to the MP. She no longer felt comfortable being with me in that context because she considered me now to be a close friend. She felt that her professional massage services were not appropriate for her personal friends. To be honest I was also beginning to feel that somehow this was not right any more. She is out of the biz now and I have lost touch with her. Have you or any of your colleagues experienced qualms like that, MPA Squared?

I have tried MP's a few times and personally can never get over the tension of parking and walking into the place, the people in the parking lots looking at you or the business's around the MP location, call me a wimp but then as soon as the session ends I get anxiety walking out of the place after being relaxed by the MP, fear of it being raided...open to any tips to aleviate this

I have been looking for Independant massage providers tried "art of massage" and had a good time a lot less tension.

Well I'm confused about the legalities. If not for the ruling last year by the judge on the "Woodbridge" case I would have said that any release is illegal. Hopefully it will be treated as a precedent by LE.

Otherwise I'm not aware of any Provincial law that states that hand jobs are legal and blow jobs aren't.

Obviously that isnt how it works either....I doubt we'll ever see a day where any of it is worded like that. But Bylaws of Holistic and Body Rub parlors are public info...looking it up is easy!! If it was really some shady practice then there wouldnt be 1000's of parlors and 1000's of men going everyday! But that is the whole point of licensing and Body Rub parlors...they are legally allowed to be what they are. The trouble starts when rules get broken...

Seen many SP's and many MPA's
Each has it's own good and bad but if I were to pick over all
The advantage for mr goes to a good MPA. You can develope a level of intimacy that just isn't achieved with an SP. I have some great sessions with SP mind you but they just don't have the gentle seductive almost romantic level that comes with a regular MPA session. Me personally I like the soft dark setting in a spa and getting to know a few ladies over time it can be a really enjoyable rewarding time as opposed to straight sex which don't get me wrong is good and can be exceptional. I think I have spent more good money on poor SP experiences than poor MPA experiences. But the good ones of either are not comparable. They serve different purposes for me. However a good intimate session with a good MPA is hard to beat

For me, it was the atmosphere with a good MPA. There is an energy about not knowing exactly how it will turn out. There's kind of an electric sexual tension that builds throughout the session, especially if you are seeing someone for the first time. I found it incredibly erotic.

Now if I can only get away to grace MPSquared's table.

Thanks, Hurricane Hank, I forgot about the "performance" part. Being with an SP reminds me of when I was young and dating, and never being sure if I would be comfortable enough with a new girl to "rise to the occasion". With an MP, even if there is no chemistry at all, there is still the massage part and the conversation to fill the time. Also, with MPs I book a half hour usually, or forty minutes, not the hour as I would with an SP, so there is much less time to kill if the session goes south.

Personally, I've never had that happen. I have recently heard some stories from clients about such situations and I just dont understand. I have clients I could chat with for hours...but it all stems from naked chemistry...to eliminate that takes away a major part of the terms of the friendship. I dont think you can just change terms without re-negotiating the deal....and I cant see a guy voting for non-nakedness, LOL

I would argue, what I am after is a few beers and a good time and scs get that done without the moral dilemma of fs and is more anonymous than an mp. Mps are far too personal for me, if that's what I wanted I would get a gf.

When I first started hobbying, I frequented the low end MP's. Then found massageplanet.net and switched over to SP's. My early SP experiences lacked the sensuality I thought the hobby would provide so I switched back to MP's and found myself an indy MPA that I saw regularly for about 2.5 years. As addicted2whiskey mentioned, as the conversational/ emotional connection got deeper, the possibility of the physical growing any further became more and more remote. I now find myself seeing high end SP's in order to get the best of both worlds.
