Merry Christmas = Happy death of Christ

Merry means happy and Christ is obviously Jesus. Mass means death of Christ. So when someone tells me Merry Christmas I am offended.

That doesn't make sense. It's not Christmass, it's Christmas. It's celebration of his birth. Good Friday is about his death. Easter is rebirth. Are you offended by us calling his death, Good Friday?

Obviously a bomb didn't do that. The cars are intact too. They were simply turned over. If a bomb did that, the cars would be diminished into burned out shells. Having said that, windows were invented in Italy by the ancient Romans.

If "Christmas" means by definition "death of Christ", then why do they chant "merry" Christmas? Are they celebrating the death?
