LiL I honestly beleive from my time spent in there that they are still working there plan out to some extent (as any good business does), there prefered option is customers using the ST rooms they have on site, over loosing the girl from the bar for the night (or 2 or more).
IMO there aim is to keep it full and pumping until the name is well established and the girls they have brought to town are settled in and not going to wander. This is the business plan I was applauding.

I've never enjoyed gogos, they don't seem to work for me. I went to the black gogo on Bangla when it was new(ish) two years ago and spotted a girl I liked, but she was BF'd before I could meet her. Then a short, chubby, ugly, girl hit on me pleading for me to BF her, claiming she hadn't had a customer in 3 months and she wanted 5K!

Info to me yesterday was it is now closed.
This is because one of the owners is charged with threatening his local phuket girl with a gun, and shes pursuing it as she wants his condo and a shop, the other is in Aus. 'raising' money for his defense. The 1500 cover was only for us white Falang, the bussed in Nth Asians were paying 300 Im told.
Two new operations doing the 'live' stuff are now in the same area, one made a better commission bid to the Tour Bus Co. and took the market off XTC, and another apparently huge venue comes online in a coupla weeks.

Poor value in my opinion, you need to either stuck 10 shorts or 15 beers down your neck in order to pay the same as normal.

Sounds like an invitation for trouble as well. Drink that much or more in two hours and you'll almost certainly have drunks rolling around causing mayhem.

I don't think 5K can last, the standard is 3K max from an agogo, 4K if you're naive or a bad negotiator. If they started out at 4K they might have made a sustainable business of people who don't know any better or just don't care (LDOP's) but making it 2K higher than anywhere else is shooting themselves in the foot.

Unless the ladies are somehow indentured, they'll find other, more profitable work in short order due to lack of customers (3 LT @ 2K p/w vs 1 LT at 4K p/w, even the slowest of BG can do that math and I'm assuming they get a large share of the BF).

I am not against the place.. but if its 5k bar fees, and that stays, unless its a front or money laundering op, it wont be here this time next year.

The one plus is it probably have very cheap rent / overheads (non girl) compared to Bangla.
