It makes it a bit easier for me to stop, now that there is financial backing coming into place for all Albertans. I know it’s not full pay, but it is something. I purchased a few massage packages from a couple of my favourites so they could have the money now, and I will reap the benefits later.
When things cool down, I will make a point to post some fresh reviews. (Not as eloquently as Luckydog tho.)

Just left Dollar Tree inside Abbotsfield Mall. Decent supply of 4 pack toilet paper. They have both a shitty brand and a quality brand. Didn't see any purchase limit signs...but it has been typical of Dollar Tree to a limit of 4. They also had a lot of Oatmeal Crisp with Raisins....to help make good use of that toilet paper.

It's about transitioning to more renewable energy sources and seeking new technology to keep the economy going without continuing to pump vast amounts of greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere. Stop equating extreme positions with everyone along the spectrum.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. Sustainable, and intelligent move towards using direct solar, wind, tidal energy, geothermal has been on the cards for a long time. However, the focused efforts to lift the poor around the globe to better conditions has required the added use of conventional energy sources (btw, they are all solar energy, coal, peat, oil etc). So now the wealthiest nations who waste the most energy.... do you really need 3000 Sq ft + homes, large SUVs etc, and 'stars' who waste more than anyone else (how much money and energy was spent on Jane Fonda's never ending cosmetics surgeries, activist travels etc), have found God, and want everyone else to repent. Living in Canada we need to heat our homes, period. If we are serious, we should stop all immigration, and we should all plan to move to a more temperate climate.

As for the ignorance, how many homes have their south facing windows with the blinds drawn down all winter... protecting their furniture from sun damage . And we talk endlessly about climate change initiatives.

Real action is personal... walking that distance while not driving (EV, it's still energy, not self propulsion), smaller homes, one less child ... and stopping immigration... and all of us migrating to ... some new place warmer, but not too hot. All very inconvenient, so let's just yap some more. Btw, I'm enjoying burning more Shell V-Power 91 RON gasoline, so those who don't like it, can suck it up.

Ultimately, it's all in vane, when the four Super Economies are taking the proverbial dump on the Paris Agreement. Without India, China, U.S., and probably Russia, truly getting on board...it's a wasted use of paper. They might as well make a billion copies, printed on 250,000,000 rolls of toilet paper.
Then, at least one of our developed world's problems, could be solved.

I am curious though: with the majority of car driving emitters staying home, if that even made a dent in the world's carbon dioxide emissions. It's the factories, the farting animals, and a epidemic loss of forests, that have brought us to this point.

I only have one solution, to one of the problems, that Canada may be responsible for: the farting animals. We give them a better diet, or add Beano.

Venice Canals water is running clear as well and you can see the fish swimming in it. Normally, with tourists and cruise ships roaming the area, the water is murky. So it makes a difference in environmental impact to air, water and land.
