This is where my opinion of a "Spa" differs:
1. I do not know what kind of light fixtures the spa uses, it projects a gloomy industrial green to the desk area, it felt like I walked into a basement 1960s industrial office, you know, the types shown in movies with the flickering fluorescent tubes. Since the spa is in the basement already, it needs much better lighting.
2. I did not see any slippers by the door, and none were ever offered to me, you are expected to take your shoes off so be prepared to walk in your socks.
3. The walk to the shower was a long windy path behind the curtains, the direct path would take you through the waiting area, although the curtains (if closed) shield you from the waiting area, everyone in the staff room can see you walk by, hopefully not with your naked butt sticking out. If you visit on a busy day, you cannot be shy about walking in front of a handful of workers dressed only in a towel.
4. The shower room is clean, I usually find a single clean bath towel there, I occasionally find slippers there, but the slippers were usually wet, so I opted not to use them.
5. The individual massage rooms are clean, but sterile; the clean part is good enough for me.
6. Occasionally, the parking sucks, only 4 or 5 spots in front, if they are used, have fun driving around the neighbourhood looking for spots. There is a "mosque?" next door with no parking lot of its own, if there is an event, good luck finding any parking.
By asian massage place standards, the place is okay. I don't come here because of the ambience, I happen to like a couple of the ladies here. I much prefer spas with windows and more cheerful lights.
Again, if you are looking for exotic extra services, you are unlikely to find them here.
