a little info for the in loved ones and the sponsors

Last time i was in Patong was in september. It was always nice and funny and wet. Well as always you meet the lovely ladies and indulge in different games and so on... I always use to say that i am a butterfly so they know what to expect and as always they try to see if they can convince me that i should spend the next night with them and so on..I can alwals say..Listen sweetheart .." i told you i am a butterfly"..And then there is no problem.

Well last time i meet a nice girl who could speak a descent english. She told me that she had a sponsor but enjoyed life in Patong to some degree. She could pick her own guys and could say no when she wanted, I observed her one night and yes...She said no to alot of guys coming up to her.

Well nevertheless, I asked if she had a sponsor what the hell was she doing in Patong.

She said...making more money and enjoying life. but then she told me something that made me laugh like crazy..." western men are stupid but nice" I have a sponsor and i live in phuket- He thinks I am waiting for him, sitting in my loom". None of the girls working in patong is waiting for their sponsors. If they where they would be waiting somewhere else"

I was laughing my ass off....

I think you've misread Paulie's post (may I call you Paulie?).

He spent years getting to know his wife and he's sure he can trust her by now, meaning that you should actually spend the time getting to know the girl rather than just a two week fling before giving a commitment to 30,000 B a month.

It's a simple con, one that's been played for decades, perhaps even centuries and not just in Thailand but some people never learn.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Thai girls are expert social engineers, probably the best I've ever seen.
