As to your question, there has definitely been some marriages between MPAs and clients. Just off the top of my head, I can think of 5...a couple of which are young owners (but sorry, not gonna name them here). Keep in mind, not every guy that has a relationship with an MPA is thinking long term or marriage though...there's nothing wrong with a FWB relationship if both sides are in it with eyes open.

I honestly don't have the answer to your questions. My opinion is that in our society there is a heavy stigma associated with anyone who sells sexual services. Assuming that the mpa gets out of the business and can keep her past secret, she can escape the stigma. The thing is that I don't believe that most people can perfectly keep their emotional side out of it, and that psychological scarring is inevitable. That scarring can play out later in life manifesting itself in addictive behaviors and emotional instability, sort of like PTSD. Having said that I am sure that there some mpa's who have been able to protect their emotional sides and manage to make lives for themselves outside of the business. I would be interested in hearing from others what percentage of mpa's go on to lead normal family lives.

Same here, I’d like to hear about success stories. I can’t imagine it’s easy to go from $100-200/hr to average wages, and actually having to work. Not to mention the psychological damage it can do.
