This place seems to have a lot of business since they do not care for regular customers. I always take the one hour spa option and tip the girl at least 100$ instead of the normal 80$. I cannot be considered extremely generous but I’m not cheap either. The girls usually make me wait 10, 15 and even 20 minutes before we start our session and I never complain and still tip. Apparently, this only work one way. I booked Catherine at 3:30 this afternoon and specifically said that I wanted the one hour spa. Due to constructions and traffic, I arrived 5 minutes late. I get in the place and the receptionist was on the phone telling a customer that Catherine will be available at 4:25. I thought it was odd since my session with her was supposed to end at 4:30. When the receptionist finished on the phone, she tells me that I am late and that Catherine has been assigned to someone else. I say: “What, I’m only 5 minutes late”. She responded: “Well I cannot lose a client”. I told her that it was not right and asked her how about those times when the girls were late? She ignored that comment and proceeded to try and book me with another girl. I refused and she seemed annoyed with me. I left the place quite irritated. If I had been very late, I would have understood. However, I was only a few minutes late and her story was quite fishy.
a) It seems to me that the customer that took my appointment arrived and was given Catherine BEFORE I was late coz the receptionist scheduled an appointment for Catherine at 4:25. This mean that the customer arrived before 3:25 and my appointment was at 3:30. I arrived at 3:35 and she had time to settle him in and answer a call.
b) She tried to book me with another girl. If other girls were available, why didn’t she give him another girl? I doubt the guy would just arrive without calling and say: “Give me Catherine or I’ll leave”.
Anyway, she tells me that she cannot lose a customer. Apparently, I’m not a customer since I guess that they do not care to lose my business. I will never go there again.
