I once had to get a locksmith to open my house door because I locked myself out by accident. He picked the lock quicker than I usually opened it using a key and I said as much to him. His response, "Locks only keep honest people out."

It is the same with any lockdown orders from the government, the people who are going to follow them are mostly the people that are already staying home and socially distancing without the orders. For some reason people are shocked that not everyone does it like they are doing it. For me I learned a long time ago people are going to go their own way and do what they want, you get maybe 50% of people who follow the rules and the rest, to one degree or another find ways around them. Not all to the level of having a storage unit party with 100 people, but maybe just getting a number of a favourite mpa and meeting them when they are suppose to be on lockdown.

I agree with what you are saying that the ones making these decisions are looking to stop the super spreader events I am still looking for the data to back up the decision they make. I know there is the example of the spin class in Hamilton and I believe a wedding in Vaughan. However, if we look back to the Brass Rail incident, they said up to 500 people could be infected, but I believe the number turned out to be around 4, but I could be mistaken and it may have been a little higher. I know in the US when South Dakota decided to hold the Sturgis bike rally which has thousands of people show up there were some people forecasting over a million infections, think there have been around 10 confirmed that were at Sturgis who got diagnosed with covid and it didn't say they caught it there. There were the kids who went partying on the beach in Florida and everyone freaked out about and I believe there were 2 cases from that event. Another event in the Ozarks and that one I am not sure if anyone became infected.

Then we can look at bars and restaurants. Before they decided to shut them down in Ottawa they had 3 cases over a 12 week period, during that same time Toronto had 27 attributed to the bars and restaurants.

If you want to see where the super spreader events are taking place, look no further than the long term care homes. It was announced that 32 people died in Toronto yesterday, 29 were over the age of 70 and of that 26 were residents of long term care homes.

I think they are focusing their efforts too broadly and should do more to protect the long term care and retirement residences.

Just got a new place recently and I've had to deal with all the headaches (fees, banks, tenants, realtors) that come with it so I haven't really had the chance to partake in the MP world. After cases got so bad last week, I had a gut feeling on Sunday that the next 7 days or less would be our final week of freedom. True enough, Doug Ford hinted at the apocalypse earlier today and I'm glad I spent the last 3 days getting a haircut, having drinks after work and just catching up with old acquaintances. I may finally squeeze in a spa appointment tomorrow and then get drunk some more this weekend for good measure. After that, I put my life on pause until April or May or however long these commie bastards decide to ride this horse shit.

I already told my family I won't celebrate Christmas with them next month and my birthday in January is a no-go. I will save all my money for a long vacation in Florida and Atlanta next year when I resume living my life... whenever that'll be. For now, it's all on hold. It absolutely sucks and I'm pissed off about it but hey, we got fair warning this time around. We were given time to get it all out our system unlike back in March so... take a deep breath gents and then take the plunge. Shutdown is coming. Good luck fellas. Wish nothing but the best for you all. Hope we can all get back to talking about our favourite MPAs sooner rather than later next year. Ciao!

Sorry to hear that. I passed on celebrating Christmas not because it's a potential super spreader. I passed because it's pointless to even do it when the spirit of the season is not there and morale is really low. Xmas is the so-called happiest time of the year but in 2020, most of us are just existing and not truly living for various reasons both related and unrelated to COVID.

As far as incalls go with industry girls, I hope there'll be more options this time around compared to last spring. I'm sure you've gathered a few contacts yourself. Same here although as much as I crave it, I think I can hold off on it for now after having that "final" spa session a few hours ago. I also crammed a haircut and a few drunken gatherings this week which will continue through the weekend. I hate that we could lockdown soon but I conditioned myself to be prepared for it unlike last time. For now, I got the video games, Netflix, the porn, the alcohol and the pizzas to keep me busy for the season lol. Anyway, good luck! Stay strong!
