Asking for money using all the tricks in the book is pretty much a BG's modus operandi. Only a fool would go for it!

As it happens though many BG's have a way of wrapping men around their finger, after that the men act proudly like Rath in the Blue Angel.

Maybe the rear Tiger bars have to pay that to attract girls (& LBs) to an area that gets relatively few customers. 15,000 is about double the going rate from my observations. Anyway, I know present and former dancers at Waikiki so I'll do some 'research' in Dec.

Correction...they get 13000baht/month and 80baht commission for ladydrinks....same as the Cowboy bar next to it.

From several Bar owners I've chatted with, 9K would appear to be the average for a half decent pole dancer.

sounds sus alright, as i recall my first trip in bkk we got 2 girls from the street, we only had a twin room at ambassador hotel so my mate took his girl into ensuite and i had the bed. anyway my girl when done said she was in pain, holding her flange saying i need money for doctor, luckily i had a band aid plaster in my toilet bag which i gave her with a reassuring smile. first thai girl experience and closing in on my century im still learning, every days a school day!

I saw a hostess' wage slip in a go-go in patts and it was just shy of 8000 baht for the month ( inc lady drinks ) ....ofcoure that was only for her bar earnings...

Don't believe it then but BOTH bars have signs up asking for more dancers, 13000baht/month and 80 for ladydrinks and they are the two bars I go to the most under Tiger whenever I go in that area.

A hostess in Pats isn't comparable to a dancer in Patong IMHO. Whilst I was surprised by LoS's 13,000 a month I don't disbelieve him. After all, he drinks at Waikiki more that I do (and I do drink there when I'm with my 'Mia Noi' - who used to dance there). In any event, I'm going to do a survey in Tiger on my return in Dec/Jan. Bloody hard work!

That's not bad then when you consider what they can make on top ....also if they were to receive 5 ladydrinks per night that would be an extra 10,000 baht or so a month extra ....
