We closed 02 am tonight, but Tiger and Crocodile was open when I left. The reason is that police told us to close early, and would maybe drop by and check.

Thats a good point you make IJ - since the rapid growth of the aircon pool bar biz in the last 2 years - that goes a long way to explain the shift up in people drinking at the bar beers.

The girls prefer the pool bars also - since nice aircon workplace, can bet with custimers for drinks/small money so can see the attraction.

I have been in Phuket from 28/2 until 11/03 and every time I went to Tiger it was only 240 bht to get in and two drink coupons are included in this price.

In tiger it is more or less back to normal. Last night we closed 3.20. I also talked to a policeman in Dragon last night (his day off), but he had no good reason why its been a hassel with openingtimes lately..........Hopefully its back to normal soon.

Tiger Disco last night: 240b, 2 free drinks. Heineken was 120b inside. I like how they added a little bar outside and they sell bbq there too. I think I left at 3am. If you want to drink later than that, Soi Sansabai seems to be one of the few options. I have no clue on the current Safari status....
