If the chance of GETTING COVID is less than 1%, and dying from Covid is less than 1%, then by vaccinating yourself, you are only giving yourself MORE chances to catch some other serious disease or death.

I was always reluctant to get vaccinated because I wondered what was in it for me. Well, I took the jab against my better judgment and am regretting it. Still wearing a mask and still facing possible lockdown. Not exactly the incentive I was looking for. Life didn't change for the better.

If it didn't get better this year, it won't next Christmas as well. At least I got my ticket to Florida next month and will be looking for property in Orlando. 5-6 months of "normalcy" out of 12 months is no way to live.

If you're trying to be funnier than Jay Leno or Johnny Carson, it's not working.

I work here too and my immediate family that I moved with to Oakville when I was younger are here as well. I'm just planting the seeds for now. It'll be a long process but at least I'll have options in life. Just get a place at the meantime that will serve as your getaway while the madness goes on here. I have several friends that stayed in Arizona and Texas during this past year's egregious 8-month lockdown. I regret not having done the same thing considering that I have friends and relatives in Orlando and Boston.
