I am not sure how you would define pocket friendly, but I would recommend the Rooftop at Yogi Executive. The service is a little slow (which is probably perfect for Valentine's day); the food is good and the view is pretty decent.
If there are other restaurants in Navi Mumbai with better views, I would also love to know about them.

Bhai SOBO has good rooftop restaurants but costly as they are in 5 stars but you can try koyla near Radio club colaba (they don't serve liquor) or the best option is Atria Mall Worli u can enjoy movies and dinner at Barbeque Nation.

By the way the girl seems to be from south Mumbai agar bar wali hai then Faras Road or Grant Road one tip .. don't take her to malls nahi to Kato gay instead book a decent hotel nearby eat fuck drink and views there are lots of places in SOBO

My favorite rooftops bars/cafe's in South Mumbai are located in 5 stars as mentioned by @Baboo and hence are definitely not pocket friendly. If you are curious, I am referring to Aer at Four Seasons in Worli, Asilo at the St Regis in Lower Parel and the Dome at the Intercontinental near Churchgate.

In addition to the spots recommended by @Baboo in Colabo, I would encourage you to check out the Bayview Cafe at Hotel Harbour View and the Marina Upper Deck at the Sea Palace Hotel. Both of these are located next to each other in Colaba, pretty close to the Radio Club and are actually cheaper than the Rooftop at Yogi Executive... that is according to Zomato's cost estimator for 2 people.

The view from the Rooftop at Yogi Executive is nothing spectacular, but I don't know if there is a better option in Navi Mumbai. The "view" consists of the hills around Turbhe and the skyline/city lights of Vashi, Sanpada etc. Nothing special TBH.

Rooftop/Terrace Restaurants in South Mumbai have much better views. I listed some of them in my reply to @UrbanMonger above.

All the late night OB adventure FRs leave me flummoxed. I know that a few here may be single, unattached or divorced. What about the married ones? How do you manage the misus? Any tips would be welcome.

I was hoping some of the local members from Mumbai/Navi Mumbai would share their secrets.
My guess would be that they make up a story about meeting clients/colleagues/friends for a late dinner. Even better if you can convince the wife that you plan on crashing at an imaginary colleague's or friend's place for the night after the late dinner... presumably to avoid driving drunk in the night.


You can't do that every week, but probably can get away with it once a month or so. This whole thing would be much more challenging if your wife is the type that calls/messages every hour to check on you.

Zenzibu rooftop lounge is okay types, some cubicle type sitting arrangement has good privacy also. Decent food and okay music.

Have also seen a sky lounge called Atrangi coming up off Palm Beach road near Dollaly . Any one been there ?

The restaurant named "Rooftop" is located at the Yogi Executive opposite Mafco market. There is no confusion about that.

As far as I know, the Yogi Midtown located on the highway (Thane-Belapur Road) does not have a rooftop restaurant. When I stayed at the Midtown last year, the only 2 dining options were at the lobby level - "Blend-n-Brew bar" which is located to the right of the check-in/out counters in the lobby and "Naans & Noodles" restaurant which is located behind the check-in/out counter next to the elevators.

Not probably, definitely i was confused, Because i have faint recall of seeing some mention of rooftop restuarant in Midtown. I have been to Blends & Brew a few times which opened last year after renovation. Thanks OL for the clarification

Well said OL, me being based locally have done exactly what you mentioned

1. Late night is easily acceptable sometimes , reason given is office / friends and colleagues sitting for drink

2. Difficult but at times have taken excuse of crashing at friends place being too late and not able to find party hard / drive u drivers.

3. When i have longer plans in city itself like couple of days types, i usually give the excuse of going out of city on work travel. But in this case extra care needs to be taken : flight timings, sometimes wife may ask that which hotel you staying. During mentioned flight time be careful to switch off phone.

Probably for me these reasons work as wife being not too peering into whole thing and not being video call obsessed. And also i am not so heavily into DB/OB and not at all in SB. But there have been moments of doubt !!

In the end however careful you are, clues always go out.

The girl I met for first time who was hotter than her... went for entry with me.

Lesson learnt : Ladkiya kissi ki nai hoti...sirf paise ki hoti hai.

Or niche upar se nuche dekhoge to kachara dikhta h

Ab kharcha kar rahe h to dusare jaga jao..

Go to some in powai, check rooftops in mumbai on Google, there are better options than yogi

Best ones i visited were "aer worli" n "dome marine drive"
