yep...they are called BGs and they are always up for a booty call...the tip you give them the next day is way less than you would spend on their western sister equivalent (friends with benefits) and if you choose well they give it a whole lot more

as for budgets WP....Deano's is not dissimilar to mine now I have settled....but the first 6 months I was at about 150K a month which then dropped down to about 100-120 for a while before settling into the 80-100 range (I don't count my OS holidays in this)

I know that you say you do not drink and dont like bars at night, but there is a good small area of bar's just off Beach Rd opposite the Absolute Hotel. Think it is called Sunset Plaza. If you walk down Bangala Rd to the beach, turn left and walk along for a while and you will see the Absolute Resort on the corner, then bars are directly opposite there.

There is about 5 small bars all open air and not as full on as the night time bars, but saw some nice lookers in there when I was there last year. There is a bar that sits back from the rest as you turn into the street from the beach, try your luck there. It is a great area for anyone that likes a drink in the afternoon. Have always found most of the bars to be very quiet at that time of day and was a great change to find a good atmosphere in a daytime bar for a change.

Not drinking makes it tough to make the most of the scene. Not the least reason being the ol' Dutch courage helps approaching girls, even here h:

goes to show you things have gotten a fair bit more expensive from when i lived there 6 years ago
i virtually went out almost every night and spent freely and was at 120k/mo which was 3k back then
you have a settled in thing going for about 3k/mo( although you go out a fair bit also)

but i guess 6 years is a long time and prices do rise
and also an exchange rate increase hurts

OTOP is a big market area that also has a big open air bar area.
If you walk up Bangala Rd from the beach, get to the top and turn right. Just keep waking along the road (about5-10 mins) and you will see a big entrance on the LH side. If you know where the Hard Rock massageplanete or Christin's Massage (huge pink building) is, it is not far from there.

i worked out i spend 85k/month on avg.

i could get that down a bit if i found a cheaper room,ate out less and sold the car and traveled OS less.
but i want to keep a decent standard of living......so i`m happy with that.

I'm considerably under that but I have no rent/mgt fees and cook most meals.
(I know food is cheap here, but home cooking is cheaper still without the add-ons).
Being a sedate gent I only go out 2-3 times per week (which is 2 times a week more than back in OZ).
The car is a business expense and offset by airport runs.

But as always, horses for courses.
